APMG is recognised for its resilience in a competitive sector and one of the many reasons for its longevity is the expertise of its highly-trained employees. Another member of APMG’s team has recently celebrated a landmark work anniversary: Neil Brown has spent 25 years with the company.
Neil can undertake many of the operations within the production department and as a CNC router operator and programmer extraordinaire he demonstrates his commitment to excellence through the high-quality laboratory and school furniture, fume cupboards and ductwork he manufactures.
While he has now qualified to join seven of his colleagues in the company’s 25 years+ club he still has a way to go to achieve the 41-year milestone reached by Steve Morgan, APMG Works Manager.
As APMG congratulated Neil the next generation of its craftsmen received excellent news. David Francis has graduated from his combined HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering with Distinctions across the board. David Francis adds this qualification to the NVQ Advanced Apprenticeship he served with APMG.
With this combination of experience, motivation and ambition in-house, it’s hardly surprising that APMG’s team fins its beautifully crafted, hard-wearing laboratory and school furniture, its fans, ductwork, fume cupboards and fume scrubbers are in demand.
