There are sinks designed to meet the needs of different applications. In addition, these sinks will come in different styles, sizes and finishes.
Stainless steel sinks are ideal for wet laboratories and areas where acids or other corrosives will not be used. They are durable, non-porous and hygienic, and heat- and stain-resistant. We supply high quality 316 Grade stainless steel lab sinks which are more corrosion resistant than the 304 Grade. Moreover, they are chemically resistant, low maintenance and will not chip or crack.
Epoxy Resin is a popular laboratory sink material that offers a valuable combination of features and benefits. It is durable and highly resistant to many acids, solvents and other inert chemicals. In addition, it is mechanically strong and easily cleaned and decontaminated. Our range of epoxy resin lab sinks comes in a wide variety of sizes and shapes to suit your application. We supply a light grey colour as standard however, other colours are available to order. These laboratory sinks can also be cast in an epoxy resin worktop to supply a seamless finish if the application requires.
Fireclay is a type of ceramic which is fired at temperatures of up to 1,200°C, almost twice that of other ceramics. This material is perfect for lab sinks as it is durable and resistant to acid, alkali, and scratches. Because it is non-porous it is hygienic and easy to clean.
We recommend tough and long lasting Fireclay sinks and Belfast sinks for use in schools. Our ceramic lab sinks can be either under or over mounted.

A Belfast sink is made from Fireclay. It has specific design, dimension and overflow arrangements which make it a ‘Belfast’. However, Fireclay sinks can come in a wide range of designs and sizes to suit your individual requirements – just ask us for details.
