Worktop colour palette refreshed

By Louise Barnes

The selection of colours APMG offers for classroom and lab worktops has been refreshed to offer even more on-trend colour options. The new colour palette is designed to bring a fresh look to the many environments and applications APMG’s work surface material of choice is so well suited to.

As an expert in the design, manufacture and installation of laboratory and educational furniture, APMG recognises that a robust work surface is a key to the longevity of a laboratory or classroom. We understand that materials specified for lab and educational furniture need to be extremely durable and scratch-resistant, chemically resistant and easy to clean.

Let’s not forget, that a pleasing aesthetic is important too and helps to create a stimulating and productive working and learning environment.

APMG recommends Trespa®TopLab®PLUS for lab worktops where the application requires high chemical resistance. Its inherent antibacterial properties and high resistance to a wide range of aggressive chemicals make it the perfect partner for laboratory projects.

APMG uses Trespa® TopLab®BASE in laboratories and educational environments where high scratch and wear resistance are of great importance, but the chemical resistance of the surface is not critical. It gives a good-looking, robust and long-lasting work surface and is ideal where severe use and frequent cleaning is anticipated.

Both TopLab®PLUS and TopLab®BASE are tested and certified according to international standards in relation to chemical resistance, antibacterial performance, low emission, food contact and decontamination.
