What’s the difference between the Premium Lab Table, the Heavy Duty Lab Table and the Standard Lab Table?
All table ranges are designed to withstand the demands of commercial laboratories and schools, offering robust and reliable performance.
The Standard Lab Table is ideal for general use, handling typical laboratory tasks effectively.
The Heavy Duty Lab Table is built for more intensive applications. It features a heavy-duty frame that supports higher loading capacities making it better suited for handling heavy equipment
The Premium Mobile Lab Table is our tough mobile range. It has the enhanced features of our Heavy Duty lab table, but with the addition of either heavy duty or standard castors to offer location flexibility.

Why is the Trespa® TopLab® PLUS ALIGN table worktop more expensive than the Trespa® TopLab®BASE one?
Trespa® TopLab® PLUS ALIGN is engineered for demanding environments requiring high chemical resistance, antibacterial properties, and durability. Its Electron Beam Curing (EBC) technology makes it non-porous and resistant to scratches, stains, and heat, ideal for sterile and regulated labs.
In contrast, TopLab® BASE is a cost-effective option for less demanding spaces, offering general durability but without the advanced resistance and certifications of PLUS ALIGN. The premium price of PLUS ALIGN reflects its superior performance and longer lifespan in harsh conditions.

How much adjustment is there in the table feet if the floor isn’t level?
Our Heavy Duty Static Table has tilting feet which can be adjusted by up to 37.5mm. The Standard Lab Table has rigid feet which can be adjusted by up to 37.5mm.
Can you fit cupboards under the tables?
The APMG cupboards from our e-commerce range shown on this site fit beneath tables that are 900mm high and above. If the cupboards are from another manufacturer, please check the clearance chart in the technical specification or ask our friendly sales team if still not sure.
Note that the space available for cupboards is less than the length of the table. For standard tables, the space available is 100mm less than the length; for Heavy Duty tables it is 130mm less; and for Premium Mobile tables, it is 170mm less.
Can you fit appliances like fridges under the tables?
Our 925mm and 950mm height options with widths of 700mm or more accommodate a typical under-worktop fridge or white good. Always check the clearance chart in the technical specification or ask our friendly sales team if still not sure.

Can you supply tables with a small upstand attached to the rear edge?
Yes, we can! Just call 0161 799 2200 or email sales@apmg.co.uk and we’ll arrange it for you. Upstands are typically 50mm tall and the additional cost will depend on the length required.
Will the table fit through a single door?
It depends on the size of the table and the size of the door opening. All our table frames are fully welded for strength and cannot be dismantled. Please be careful to check that the access route is suitable, especially when considering larger tables.
