Destination Hong Kong for APMG labs and fume cupboards

By Louise Barnes

High-quality, sturdy APMG lab furniture and three APMG 1500 mm Airform fume cupboards have been exported to Hong Kong to provide a safe, exciting learning environment for the scientists of the future. The furniture for the Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Integrated Science labs has all been manufactured and flat-packed for assembly in Kai Tak.

Hot on the heels of several successful projects in Hong Kong, APMG’s latest collaboration with MGI Far East will see the bright new labs arrive in May. APMG has been sending its furniture to Asia’s World City for over 15 years – the hard-wearing nature and classic good looks of its products have proved very popular.

‘We have a strong relationship with our APAC network,’ says Chris Brown, Furniture & Fume Cupboard Sales Director. ‘We’ve found that the Asian Pacific market values quality of material and design and recognises the value it adds to a learning environment.

‘Our design team offers fresh, flexible options, creating laboratories that can adapt to suit different learning and teaching styles. We’re pleased to be able to say that every lab project we have exported to Hong Kong has been delivered on time and to budget.’

This latest consignment of furniture is destined for a busy high school. MGI’s specialist installation teams are familiar with APMG’s product portfolio. The bench-mounted fume cupboards are designed to fully integrate with the lab furniture and will be assembled in Hong Kong too.
