Lab Reagent Shelving
Lab reagent shelving is the smart storage solution for a seamless workflow and it can keep work surfaces clutter-free. We can install it on island and peninsula benches to engineer in convenient storage space for regularly used items.
Our shelving also has the potential to neatly incorporate service and data outlets, which can free up even more space. The design options for this over-bench lab shelving are almost limitless. Why not talk to our expert design engineers about the perfect lab shelving system for your application?
Lab Reagent Shelving Design
Using our team’s extensive experience in lab design we can recommend the right materials for your application.
Typically, we manufacture the horizontal surfaces from hard-wearing Trespa® solid grade laminate. This material offers chemical resistance – ideal for lab shelving.
We use laminate faced MDF as the standard material for vertical faces for cost-effectiveness. However, Trespa® is offered as an option where chemical resistance or added robustness is required.
Need to maximise the working space? We can incorporate the service and/or data outlets into the lab reagent shelving, resulting in an uninterrupted worktop area. A service box allows power and data sockets to be mounted on the face of the reagent shelving and contains the pipework for pendant type gas and water outlets below.
Alternatively, the services can be positioned in the vertical risers. We have plenty of smart design options to optimise your lab.
We also design standard and customised spur reagent shelving systems.
For an added degree of flexibility, we have spur shelving systems that allow both height adjustment and the removal of the shelves. They can also contain service and power and data outlets conveniently located in a dado rail, again, maximising working space.
Our strong, adjustable spur shelving isn’t only suitable for lab reagent shelving, it can also be an economical way to increase storage capacity throughout the lab.
