Lab Reagent Shelving
Lab reagent shelving is the smart storage solution that aids a seamless workflow. Installed on island and peninsula benches it provides convenient storage space for regularly used items, keeping work surfaces clutter-free. It also has the potential to neatly incorporate service and data outlets, freeing up even more space. The design options for this above bench lab shelving are almost limitless, so talk to our expert design engineers about the perfect lab shelving system for your application.
Using our experience in lab design we can recommend the appropriate materials for your lab reagent shelving. The horizontal surfaces are typically manufactured from hard-wearing Trespa® solid grade laminate for chemical resistance. Laminate faced MDF is the standard material for vertical faces, with Trespa® offered as an option where chemical resistance or added robustness is required.
Where the service and/or data outlets are incorporated into the shelving your lab benefits from an uninterrupted worktop area. A service box allows power and data sockets to be mounted on the face of the reagent shelving and contains the pipework for pendant type gas and water outlets below. Alternatively, the services may be positioned in the vertical risers.
We also design spur reagent shelving systems that allow both height adjustment and the removal of the shelves to bring complete flexibility to your lab. These can also contain service and power and data outlets conveniently located in a dado rail.
Our strong, adjustable spur shelving isn’t only suitable for lab reagent shelving, it can also be an economical way to increase storage capacity throughout the lab.
