ATEX Compliant Fans
APMG’s comprehensive ATEX-Series fan range is available as centrifugal, forward and backward inclined fans and fully complies with ATEX Manufacturer’s Directive 94/9/EC. Manufactured from anti-static polypropylene, all the fans are available in Group II Category 2G EX IIB T4 Zones. EN 14986 : 2007 Design of fans working in potentially explosive atmospheres.
EN 13463-1 : 2001 Non-electrical equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres. Basic method and requirements.
EN 13463-5 : 2003 Non-electrical equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. Protection by construction safety C.
A technical file containing full fan construction details and other supporting information has been lodged with BASEEFA in accordance with the ATEX Manufacturer’s Directive.

APMG also designs, manufactures and installs an extensive range of ductwork and vent fittings to complement our range of corrosion resistant extract fans. All pipework is manufactured to meet HVAC DW/154 Specification for Plastics Ductwork, which is the premier specification for PVC and PP-S ducting.
