APMG’s comprehensive range of BS EN 14175 compliant fume cupboards is fully engineered for smooth airflow and efficient purging of fumes. We offer industrial, DDA Enhanced Access, and educational fume cupboards.
You may be surprised to find out how much comes as standard on an APMG fume cupboard. When comparing quotes, be sure to check what is and isn’t included.
Our robustly built, fully-featured Airform bench-mounted fume cupboards provide a reliable and safe working environment. The Airform range has been independently tested to the European fume cupboard standard BS EN 14175 (Part 3: Type test methods).
EN 14175 supersedes the BS7258 British Standard which the Airform range of fume cupboards also meets.
We have a wide range of fume cupboard sizes and can also manufacture bespoke models – just speak to our friendly team for details.
The Airform walk-in fume cupboard provides excellent containment. It is ideal for use with large equipment.
Because we make our fume cupboards in-house, we can supply a customised unit to precisely meet your application’s needs. Just give us a call to speak to our friendly technical design team.
APMG can also supply a wide range of mobile lab tables that can be wheeled into the walk-in fume cupboard as required.
APMG offers a safe, accessible fume cupboard designed to meet the needs of wheelchair users. It easily accommodates wheelchair access. The Enhanced Access Fume Cupboard includes an adjustable height working level and an automatic sash.
The fume cupboard working level is adjustable to between 700mm and 900mm high. This offers flexibility depending on the height and size of the wheelchair. It can be raised or lowered electronically using a one-touch control. The worktop can be fitted with our standard range of fume cupboard sinks and drip cups.
The sash is also electronically operated. In addition, we can add in an energy-efficient movement sensor too. This automatically lowers the sash when no movement has been detected in a user-selectable time frame (1 to 5 mins).
APMG’s cost-effective school fume cupboards are designed to enhance learning and protect staff and students. CLEAPSS G9 compliant, they have been tested to the BS EN 14175 standard to confirm their excellent levels of fume containment.
With the glass on three sides, students can easily see experiments and demonstrations. The ductwork removes fumes and safely exhausts them into the atmosphere.
The bench-mounted construction of our fixed ducted fume cupboard allows it to integrate seamlessly with the lab benching.
APMG’s economical school semi-mobile fume cupboard combines 360° visibility with the assurance of fixed ducted fume removal. It can be moved to up to 1.5m from the wall and the toughened glass to all four sides allows students to easily see demonstrations. When not required, it can be neatly stored against the wall.
Our tough SSR2000 (Sliding Sash Recirculation) school mobile fume cupboard is ideal for education.
The unit is simple to manoeuvre and passes easily through a standard door opening. It can be moved between science labs, instantly adding demonstration capacity. The toughened glass panels to all four sides offer 360° visibility.
It has been independently tested by CLEAPSS G9 to confirm its excellent levels of fume containment.
We offer a bench-mounted or wall-mounted docking station for our mobile and semi-mobile fume cupboards. This connects to the mains services – gas, cold water and electricity.

We provide full service and maintenance packages for our fume cupboards, and for most other makes and models of fume cupboards. COSHH regulations require that fume cupboards should be tested at least every 14 months.
During our servicing visit, highly trained, DBS-checked test engineers ensure that each fume cupboard, fume extract system and fan is completely fit for purpose. They test to meet BS EN 14175 and CLEAPSS G9 methods and guidance as appropriate. Contact us for details.
